Delete your Oikos Bible account & data

How to request deletion

Send an email from the address associated with your Oikos Bible account to info@oikosbible.com with the subject "Delete my account". Requesting from your account address lets us verify the request is really yours.

1. Open your email app and start a new message to info@oikosbible.com.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
3. Send it from the same email address you use to sign in to Oikos Bible.

We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data tied to it, including:

• Your account information (email address and hashed password).
• Your profile (display name and profile photo, if you added one).
• Content you created — highlights, notes, bookmarks, prayers, reading progress, groups, and the people and discipleship notes you added.

What data is kept

We do not keep your personal account data after deletion. Limited, non-identifying technical records (such as anonymized error logs) may persist for up to 90 days for security and reliability, after which they are removed. We never sell your data and the app contains no advertising.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can delete individual highlights, notes, prayers, people and other content from within the app, and you can remove your profile photo at any time. For help removing specific data, email us at info@oikosbible.com.
